Our forms are for adults. Please don’t send us a child’s name, exact date of birth, email address, or other identifying details.
What we collect
The class-interest form asks for your adult email address, the topics you’re interested in, an approximate age band, your preferred class format, and an optional preferred time. We also record your permission to contact you. We don’t ask for a name, address, phone number, payment details, or a child’s contact details.
The newsletter form collects your adult email address and your explicit permission to receive the newsletter. Joining the class-interest list does not join the newsletter.
Why we use it
We use class-interest responses to plan classes and contact you about your interest. Newsletter addresses are used for occasional project ideas, field notes, and Kidcoderz news. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising profiles.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in a private file on Kidcoderz’s Hostinger server. Only the business owner and authorised server administrators can read them, using authenticated server access. There is no public inbox or submission-reading API. Hostinger may process data outside your country. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for information about its processing and safeguards.
The hosting provider also processes normal technical request information, such as IP addresses, for delivering and protecting the site. We haven’t added analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. Fonts are hosted with the site, not fetched from a third-party font service.
Your choices
You can ask to correct or delete a response, or ask us to stop contacting you, by replying to any class or newsletter email from Kidcoderz. Newsletter emails will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also use the privacy request form below with the email you originally used. We’ll confirm your request by email before making changes.
How long we keep it
Class-interest responses are kept for up to 12 months unless you choose to continue a conversation about a class. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for removal. We review signups at least once a year and remove addresses that are no longer needed. Requested deletions apply to our active records, exports, and mailing lists, subject to the hosting provider’s backup retention.
For parents and guardians
This site introduces educational activities for children, but signups and communication are with adults only. We don’t knowingly collect submissions directly from children. If a child has submitted personal information, contact us using the method above so we can remove it.
